The greatest accomplishments can be viewed only through and in the lives of those students who graduate and return with words of their deep appreciation for the opportunity that was presented to them to attend the HBCU tour.

*The Registration Fee equal to $400.00 is non-refundable and required to reserve a seat on the tour.

If STRD has to postpone for any reason, students will be transferred to another tour.
If a STRD HBCU Tour participant has to cancel, the below cancellation policy will apply:
Cancellation Policy: You, as the participant and/or the person making the payments on behalf of student, have expressed your intention to enter into an agreement with Stepping in the Right Direction for one of its College Tours. You have expressed this intention by completing a registration form. This Non-Refundable Deposit & Cancellation Policy covers your online payments made on Stepping in the Right Direction’s website, www.steppingintherightdirection.com.
Your tour seat is reserved only when you register for the tour (“Registered Tour”) and make your payment of the non-refundable deposit of up to $400.00. The non-refundable deposit is paid by you in order to register and reserve your date and Registered Tour and is non-refundable in the event that you cancel your reservation for the Registered Tour for any reason and at any time.
Under NO circumstances will your payment(s) up to $400.00 non-refundable deposit be refunded and you agree not to initiate any charge backs or disputes through your credit card company or through PayPal with regard to this non-refundable deposit. Your signature below acknowledges that you understand this Non-Refundable Deposit & Cancellation Policy as outlined herein.
Due to strict contractual obligations, there may be changes to a tour such as campus changes before or during a tour, up to Postponing. We may change campus visits or postpone a tour for any reason including but not limited to: Inclement weather, Campus related issues, Acts of God, etc.
If STRD has to postpone a tour for any of the above reasons, participants will be given new tour date options, as there is no refund.
Cancellations and Refunds of Installments
Over 90 Days Prior to Tour Departure Date Cancellation
The rest of your payment for the tour you register for is made usually in one (1) to eight (8) payments (“Balance Payment”). If you cancel your reservation more than 90 days prior to the first date of the tour, you will receive a refund of all of your Balance Payment but not the non-refundable deposit fee of $400.00.
90 Days or Less Prior to Tour Departure Date Cancellation
If you cancel your reservation 90 days or less prior to the first date of the tour, you will not receive a refund of any of the amounts that you have paid for the tour.
Your signature below confirms that you have read and approved this Non-Refundable Deposit & Cancellation Policy. You agree not to initiate any charge backs or disputes through your credit card company or through PayPal that conflicts with this Non-Refundable Deposit & Cancellation Policy.
